YES, raising the subject of abortion, whatever the context, is going to be uncomfortable.
But D Carter you have to ask yourself this question: is a 23-week-old foetus a life? If you think ‘yes’ then the fact that it is legal to destroy that life and almost 200,000 lives, younger than this, every year in the
UK alone is one which not only needs raising but urgently, whatever the context.
The ‘single issue obsessed zealots’ as you refer to those people who are prepared to raise the uncomfortable issue of abortion, are trying to protect human life, their own humanity, and the humanity of all of us.
